This gorgeous kettle is pretty much the standard in pouring kettles for home or cafe use. It allows you to direct the flow of the water over your coffee bed and also control the pace, ensuring you have the potential to get the most out of your coffee. This kettle is also burner-friendly, so if the feeling takes you, you can bring it to the boil like old-fashioned kettles.
This Japanese kettle’s slim spout and ergonomic handle make it easy to master the pour-over technique; pouring the hot water over the coffee is steady and precise.
There's no denying that this is a beautiful little gooseneck kettle that we just love looking at on our counter. It helps in controlling the amount of water you pour over your coffee (when using the pour-over method) which is key when it comes to brewing with a Chemex or a V60.
Personally, we boil our water separately and then pour it into the kettle to use because we just can't bare to put this beauty on a stove, but it's totally safe to put on a burner (we've done it once). Best thing is that it doesn't whistle like a banshee!
Hand wash in hot soapy water with a mild detergent and non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Air dry.
