An intro to natural facial cleansing

Say goodbye to conventional make up removers and face wash. If you're curious about all natural facial cleansers and makeup removers, read our guide to help you with the transition.

If you're anything like me, you have been using years upon years of drugstore and department store makeup removers and facial cleansers. But a lot of these face washes are filled with irritants and toxins, and can be pretty harsh to your skin. Curious about natural cleansers, and whether they hold up against conventional products in getting rid of dirt and makeup? I tried out various products and chose the best ones for Ample + Good.

Makeup remover: Chamomile Honey Makeup Remover

Ingredients: Calendula*, chamomile* and rose* infused witch hazel*, aloe vera juice*, avocado oil, honey*, calendula* infused sunflower oil*, castor oil, jojoba oil*, rosehip seed oil*. * organic

Yes, this is the real deal. I have used this makeup remover to get rid of foundation, bronzer, and mascara. Not just any mascara, but the Benefit They're Real! mascara, which is notoriously hard to remove (they even made their own remover for it).

As with any makeup remover, I would follow up with a double cleanse, an overall face wash.
